life in general [Jul. 2nd, 2005|12:18 am]
[private lj-entry]

I don't know why it is, but I've been feeling sick lately. Maybe it's because I've been feeling haunted by my jerk of an ex-boyfriend. Or maybe that's just an excuse I'm making.

I don't know why I'm not social. I can't seem to muster up the strength to meet people. I love the job, but I can't seem to be outgoing. Oh well.

Sleeping pills are the world's greatest invention, really. How did I ever get by without them?

Stuff [Jun. 7th, 2005|04:36 pm]
My older brothers have always been there for me when I needed to talk to somebody. They are twins, both only a year older than me. I don't know why I haven't called them to let them know how my new job is. It's not like I don't have free time.

Anyway, one of them, Jake, called me this morning and informed me that he is moving to Germany for a year for a job-related thing. It's great that he likes his job, and he's excited for the move. The only thing is, I realized just from catching up with him over the phone, that I will really miss him. I guess I'm just family-oriented. I wonder if he has told my other brother Aaron. They are really close, and I wonder if Aaron will be lonely. I will have to try and spend some time with both of them soon, before Jake leaves, since I am only living about an hour away from them.

The good thing is, Jake's giving me his parakeet, Shelton. Yes, I know that's a strange name for a tiny little green bird. But I'm excited to have a pet now. :D

At least now when I go home to my apartment, it won't be so unbelievably deathly quiet that I think I'm the only human being left on earth.

Should I go home now? [May. 30th, 2005|03:22 am]
Should I go home now? I don't actually have anything to do here.

Maybe I'll just get some coffee in the lounge. Or something. Anyway, that's where I'll be.

very very open [May. 29th, 2005|12:58 am]
Susan Ellis was at the hospital late yet again. She didn't know when the last time she had slept was. She felt tired physically. She could barely drag herself to get more coffee, yet her mind wouldn't calm down enough for her to get any sleep. The good thing was, she was all caught up with her work. The bad thing was... )

What is going on? [May. 27th, 2005|02:02 am]
I've been super busy settling into my new job this week. I haven't had time to worry about Audrey, but what's this going around about her getting verbally assaulted by a patient? I will have to go and see what's going on, and make sure to get to talk to her soon.

I need to catch up on more paperwork. So much for sleeping tonight. I wonder if I'll be the only one staying late...

1st day stuff [May. 20th, 2005|04:19 am]
Well my first day at PPTH is now over...I met a bunch of people, including Dr. House's team, Cameron, Chase, and Foreman. I briefly met Dr. House himself, but didn't really get a good impression of him. I also met another new person, the new Internals intern, Jess. Looks like I'm going to like the people here, the ones I've met so far seem really nice.

I will most likely be going to a Hematology conference in NYC tomorrow...should give me an opportunity to meet some other people, and have some fun. I should go pack!

Clinic Duty (open) [May. 19th, 2005|08:37 pm]
Dr. Susan Ellis left Cuddy's office, and found the clinic. It wasn't very crowded there, and she saw a couple of routine patients. Nothing interesting. She wondered if she was going to meet any of the other staff members soon. She sat down in the lounge and took a drink of her coffee, and waited to see if anyone would come by.

Well, it's my first day at PPTH today. I've was up late last night worrying about my first day, but luckily I'm nervous enough that I have some energy!

I was told to report to Dr. Cuddy...I hope I like this job...
